APril Kauffman, Licensed Aesthetician
April Kauffman, a Pennsylvania native, became a licensed aesthetician in 1997 at the Lancaster School of Cosmetology. She started her career in a prominent day spa before pursuing her dream of working in a medical environment. She spent 7 years with a plastic surgery practice where she created an aesthetic business “from scratch”, and performed all of the treatments. She was also a medical assistant in that practice. It was here that she developed a love for sunscreen, and an eye for spotting suspicious lesions. She then went on to spend 15 years in one of the first med spas in York, PA. Here she continued to deepen her knowledge of aesthetics and performed a variety of chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and laser treatments. She is also certified in dermaplaning.
April has true passion for all things skin, and loves to educate her patients on ingredients, and how products and treatments work together to improve, or correct, skin concerns. Her patients call her their “skin care guru” for information and discernment. She continues to seek education, and keeps herself up to date concerning advancements in the aesthetics world. She feels that no skin is beyond improvement, and loves to help patients achieve their skin care goals.
She recently permanently relocated to Daytona to be closer to family, and is excited to be a part of the OBD Aesthetics Center team.
